Exercise Summer Shield 12 demostrated and improved NATO’s combined-arms capabilities between Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Germany, Canada and the United States during the month of March, 2015, in Camp Adazi, Latvia. Marines from Black Sea Rotational Force 15, strategically postured in Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania, contributed approximately 150 Marines to the largest Summer Shield exercise in the program’s existance.
