USARAK Soldiers trained in Malemute drop-zone on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion 377th PFAR, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, air dropped two Howitzers along with 417 personnel from C-130's and C-17's, set up the guns, and fired them Friday, Mar. 24, 2015. This exercise was conducted to advance the ability and speed of the unit.
