Marines who came to Boston aboard the USS Arlington take part in the Saint Patrick’s Day festivities were given the opportunity to give back. Marines aboard the USS Arlington volunteered six hours of their own time to the organization Cradles to Crayons. The organization’s main focus is to serve children in need from birth to the age of twelve within the community of Boston. The Marines spent their time at the community relations event packing boxes, folding and sorting clothes, sorting toys, and preparing clothing packages for children in the community.
