PERRY, GA - Emergency Managers from more than twenty different Air National Guard units begin the second day of training at Global Dragon Deployment for Training (DFT) with a group exercise on March 10, 2015.
Through the day, airman trained in gas masks and gloves, using their equipment to test for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) contamination. The training emphasized coordination within small teams, with each airman working to increase confidence and support their wingman to accomplish the mission.
Global Dragon DFT is a two-week long course taking place at the Guardian Center in Perry, Georgia. The Guardian Center houses several training fascilities that simulate demolished city blocks, flooded towns and CBRN-contaminated areas.
