RIGA, Latvia - Soldiers from the 16th Sustainment Brigade work with their Latvian Army, U.S. Army Surface Deployment Distribution Command and U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Division Soldiers to discharge a large shipment of M1A2 Abrams tanks, M2A3 Bradley fighting vehicles and support vehicles at the Riga Universal Terminal port.
The 39th Transportation Battalion's 624th Movement Control Team and 386th Movement Control Team manage large civilian and military transportation operations in the region under Operation Atlantic Resolve.
