Airmen from the 374th Airlift Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan and 36th Wing, Andersen Air Base, Guam lead and participated in Operation Christmas Drop 2014. During this annual operation, Airmen drop supplies to isolated Micronesian islanders and is the longest running humanitarian mission in history. Andersen members gathered the donations from the base and others areas while Yokota members completed operation. This is the 63rd year of, as Colonel Douglas DeLaMater says, "what we hope to be 163 years" of this operation.
