More than 40 organizations chipped in to bring Thanksgiving turkeys to the tables of service members and families from Joint Base Lewis McChord. Carlene Joseph and a group of volunteers gave out over 500 turkeys Tuesday as part of Operation Turkey Drop. They'll also give out more than 500 hams as part of Operation Ham Grenade, an annual program sponsored by the Association of the United States Army and the Air Force Association, along with sponsors the local community.
