Having just had 69 airmen receive their CCAF degree, it's obvious that the wing's focus on education is gaining tremendous momentum at the Mississippi Air National Guard's 172nd Airlift Wing.
With it now being a requirement for Air National Guard personnel to have a Community College of the Air Force degree for a promotion to E-8, the 172nd Airlift Wing just graduated what is believed to be the largest CCAF class in Air National Guard history. (15)
A full 69 airmen received their accredited degree at the Wing’s November UTA following a tremendous push by members to qualify through their accomplishments in civilian and military education.
