Marines, sailors and families with II Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, participated in a “Praetorian Challenge” field meet aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 10, 2014. Participants were challenged to go back to their warrior roots by competing in events such as rock climbing, a 7-ton vehicle pull, pugil stick bouts and a tug-of-war challenge. The events helped the Marines build unit cohesion and increase readiness through friendly competition. At the conclusion of the meet, 2nd Intelligence Battalion was declared the winner.
