On a perfect Autumn day at Minot Air Force Base, a dedication ceremony took place on Sept. 29th to officially open the newly constructed runway. The old runway was built in 1957 and the renovation was essential to sustain Minot's B-52 mission. Col. Jason Armagost, commander of the 5th Bomb Wing, stressed the importance of teamwork between the base and local community.
