The New Jersey National Guard graduated 24 Albanian Officers. The Albanian troops just completed 12 weeks of United States Army Officer Candidate School training that was conducted by the New Jersey Army National Guard. Albania is the first State Partnership Program country to send its officer candidates to its partner state – New Jersey – to attend Officer Candidate School. The 12-week New Jersey Army National Guard OCS program is modeled after the active-duty program at Fort Benning, Ga. and includes classroom instruction, physical and leadership training.
