Marines with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment conduct combat operations and patrol alongside the Legged Squad Support System (LS3) on the island of Oahu, Hawaii in the Kahuku Training Area, July 11, 2014. At one point the Marine come under mortar fire. The LS3 is being tested by the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab during their Advanced Warfighting Experiment testing future technologies and concepts for the Marine Corps of the future.
