Japanese Minister of Defense, Itsunori Onodera, meets with Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. John M. Paxton Jr. at the Pentagon July 10, 2014. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a number of topics, including the importance of the relationship between the Marine Corps and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
