Scott AFB held it's annual Diversity Day Picnic on June 17, 2013, in celebration of our diverse backgrounds and cultures. Many local organizations sponsored the picnic and had informational booths/giveaways. Scott AFB had it's own heritage booths honoring many different ethnicities, and volunteers from around base helped cook and serve food. A large children's area had many different inflatable slides, bounces and games. The Band of Mid-America played during the picnic, and the overall turnout made the event a success.
