    NEW ORLEANS — World War II veterans living at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in LaPlace speak on why they joined the U.S. Armed Forces in the early 1940's and what their service meant to them. This multimedia project is in honor of those who served to making the sacrifices to help keep our country free and in honor of the 70th Anniversary of D-Day.
