Sgt. Hoy coaches and encourages his son, Pvt. First Class Hoy in the 2014 Winston P. Wilson Marksmanship Competition. Both are a part of Oregon's Marksmanship Team. The Hoy's have passed down marksmanship training from father to son for more than four generations. The Winston P. Wilson Marksmanship Competition is held annually at the Robinson Maneuver Training Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The competition is designed to allow marksman from all states to meet and exchange techniques while engaging in friendly competition.
