A San Diego-based Coast Guard Jayhawk helicopter crew medically evacuated a woman from a cruise ship approximately 30 miles off the coast of Point Loma, Calif., May 7, 2014. The crew of the Carnival Imagination contacted the Joint Harbor Operation Center at 5:25 p.m., requesting a medevac for the 41-year-old American woman after she began experiencing abdominal pain.
