An MV-22 Osprey Tiltrotor Aircraft performs flight operations in the East China Sea and Okinawa.
EAST CHINA SEA (March 15. 2014) -- An MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265, performs operations out of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU), is currently conducting joint force operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility.
