As Operation Enduring Freedom and major U.S. combat operations in Afghanistan enter final phases, force protection operations are a no fail mission for the 2-44th ADA a support asset to the 1st Sustainment Comman(Theater). Soldiers from the 2-44th ADA have installed several Counter Rocket Artillery Missile systems (CRAM) across Bagram Airfield to assure safe counter aerial defense efforts and to sustain operations here.
