A Coast Guard Air Station North Bend MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew hoists a fisherman, suffering from signs of hypothermia, from the Yaquina Bay south jetty while a second fisherman was able to walk off the jetty with the help of Coast Guard rescue crews Jan. 20, 2014.
The two departed their 55-foot fishing vessel, the Eclipse, after the vessel allided with the jetty, the boat’s captain stayed aboard and was able dewater the vessel with the help of Coast Guard boat crews from Station Yaquina Bay.
