KODIAK, Alaska - Coast Guard Kodiak Fire Department personnel escort a medevac patient from the Coast Guard Cutter Rush to awaiting emergency medical personnel Dec. 5, 2011. The Rush crew medevaced the 52-year-old crewman from the 610-foot bulk carrier Navios Ulysses 713 miles southwest of Kodiak the day before.
