More than seven decades have passed since America entered World War II. In a sense the entry of the U.S. into battle was a choice made for them because on a bright sunny morning in Hawaii... Japanese planes, without warning, zeroed in on the island of Oahu and attacked. Perhaps the hardest hit was a base that some sailors call America’s best homeport. For vets stationed there on December 7th 1941 it’s a base… and a day they will never forget. Nick Tovo reports
