An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria, Ore., hoists an injured surfer in Seaside, Ore., Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.

The aircrew worked with Seaside Fire and Rescue crews to locate and hoist the surfer before transferring him to a Life Flight helicopter crew at the Seaside Airport.
