U.S. Marines with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Mongolian Armed Forces service members and members of the Mongolian General Police demonstrate techniques learned during the Non-Lethal Weapons Executive Seminar Field Training Exercise at Five Hills Training Area, Mongolia on Aug. 26, 2013. NOLES is a regularly scheduled field training exercise and leadership seminar sponsored by U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and is designed to promote awareness and effective use of non-lethal weapons as a tool to maintain order in low-intensity or civil unrest situations.
