Operation SPARTAN SPEAR II, a Joint Air Attack Team (JAAT) exercise was held at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, September 18, 2013. Joint Tactical Air Control operators from the 82d Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron led this JAAT alongside personnel from the 389th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, and 1-4 Armor Brigade Combat Team.
