Marine veteran Cpl. Richard Stalder, 22, from Muenster, Tx., will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., May 11-17 in shooting and archery. Stalder is still searching for the exact diagnosis of his injuries.
The two-week training camp will prepare Marines for the 2013 Warrior Games. The Warrior Games is a Paralympic style competition to elevate wounded, ill and injured service member's abilities through athletic competition. The fourth annual Warrior Games will be held at the Olympic Training Center and Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, May 10-16. Athletes will compete in swimming, track and field, volleyball, wheelchair basketball, cycling, shooting and archery. The Marine team will defend their three-time, first place title against the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and SOCOM. Broll also available. Produced by Cpl. Max Pennington.
