Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz, Commanding General, Joint Force Headquarters, District of Columbia National Guard and Brig. Gen. Arthur Hinaman, Commander, Land Component Command, District of Columbia, held a press conference for kick off of Joint Task Force - District of Columbia. Approximately 6,000 National Guard personnel from 31 states and territories will be working for Joint Task Force - District of Columbia, providing traffic control, crowd management, transportation, communication and medical and logistical support - as well as marching in the Inaugural Parade.
