Teams of high school students built and programmed robots to battle through challenges at the VEX Robotics Competition, sponsored by the U.S. Army. The students applied science, technology, engineering and math skills that are in demand with top U.S. companies and the Army. The competition was held in San Antonio on Jan. 4, 2013, before the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
