Planning for biennial exercise Keen Sword 2013 began more than a year ago. Although the exercise takes place throughout mainland Japan, the island of Okinawa serves as a major scenario location. Airman First Class Ashley Powell takes us to Kadena Air Base as participants get ready to rev up their engines and begin training, but most importantly, improve bilateral working relationships.
