Soldiers assigned to Baker and Crusader Companies, 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division alongside Kuwaiti Soldiers assigned to 15th Mubarak Brigade, teamed up to conduct the live fire exercise, Saweyan Shield. Saweyan is the Arabic word for together. The exercise culminated the two brigades' partnered training over the previous five months. Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Third Army/ARCENT commanding general, and Maj. Gen. Gary H. Cheek, Third Army/ARCENT deputy commanding general were on hand to observe the exercise. Produced by SPC.
