Relief efforts continue as volunteers clear and dewater the Breezy Point infrastructure in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Utility companies repair power lines prior to re-energizing and firemen, police, and citizens coordinate volunteer support to help neighbors “gut and pump” flood damaged homes.
