Guardsmen from around the U.S. recently traveled to Kazakhstan where they teamed up with their active duty counterparts for exercise Steppe Eagle 2012. More than 1,000 troops participated in the annual multi-national peacekeeping exercise designed to improve interoperability while exchanging ideas and building relationships through training together.
