Report about the U.S. Coast Guard District 14 conducting a search and rescue exercise with the People's Republic of China's Maritime Safety Administration (MSA). The exercise took place off the coast of Oahu and involved the Chinese MSA vessel Haixun-31, the USCG Cutter Galveston Island, and helicopter crews from the Haixun-31 and Coast Guard Air Station Barber's Point. The two countries responded to rescue scenario in which a person was stranded in the water. This was the Haixun-31's first visit to American waters. Available in high definition.
