As the Army’s 82nc Combat Aviation Brigade is replaced by the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade in Afghanistan, the C-5 has become the strategic airlift workhorse. Moving the equipment of the 101st in and the 82nd’s out, the C-5 Galaxy is supported by aircrew and maintenance airmen from the West Virginia Air National Guard. Soundbites include SMSgt.
