Broll of a farewell ceremony for more than 160 members of the 120th Engineer Battalion as they prepare for deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The ceremony took place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, at the ORU Mabee Center in Tulsa. The 120th Engineer Battalion is headquartered in the Armed Force Reserve Center in Broken Arrow, Okla. They last deployed in March of 2004 and served in and around Fallujah, Iraq, for more than ten months. The 120th is trained and equipped to provide combat engineering support to forward combat elements, as well as, the construction of roads, buildings, military support facilities and aircraft support facilities.
