SSG Krisell Creager-Lumpkins knew what she wanted to do...She joined the U.S. Army a year before she graduated from Bear River High in Garland, Utah in 2002. Nine years later after a severe training accident, she was admitted to a military hospital for brain surgery. Her recovery is on-going, one of her methods for healing...training for and competing in a unique sporting event - the olympic-sanctioned Warrior Games. Natasha Schleper introduces us to Krisell as she trains, meets other wounded service members...and heals. Krisell suffers from an unrepairable brain aneurism but is still serving on active duty while the Army works with her medical condition. Available in high definition.
