A1C Daniel Burkhardt(reporting)-When was the last time you participated in a “Fun Run?” Ok, how about a fun run with the United States Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team, the mascots from the Washington Nationals, a machine gun to kick it all off, and robots? The 11th Wing provides presidential level service to Airmen and their families in a number of ways, and they were all on display at this fun run around the installation. The fastest runners received prizes at the finish line while units stood ready to demonstrate what service members help accomplish here every day. With firefighters, helicopters, and everything in between, the 11th Wing certainly knows how to put on a truly “Fun Run.” Reporting from Joint Base Andrews, I’m Airman First Class Daniel Burkhardt.
