Specialist Angela Teel, 3274th Army Hospital, answers questions about "Dog Town". Deployed soldiers at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo are able to take dogs out of Dog Town after taking a dog handling briefing. The briefing discusses the dogs’ health and safety, handling techniques, and overall animal care. The dogs are well-behaved strays that were caught in the area. The dogs are taken off the street and given a safe place to live as well as boosting soldier moral. Dog Town has different dogs to fit different soldier life styles, some dogs are great as running partners and others work well as office dogs. Soldiers can adopt a dog and send it back to the United States. The dogs can be accessed 24-hours a day. Produced by Spc. Nathan Rivard. Also available in High Definition.
