The exhibit is one way visitors of the hotel as well as those attending the convention can learn more about the Tuskegee Airmen's contributions to the Air Force as well as gain knowledge of today's Air Force. The convention is held annually to recognize and honor the efforts of the Tuskegee Airmen and to pay respects to those original Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen (DOTA) alive today as well as those who have passed on each year.
