B-roll of remaining Original Documented Tuskegee Airmen, friends and family members, as well as friends and family members of deceased members, attended the Opening Ceremony of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. 40th National Convention in National Harbor, Maryland August 4th, 2011. Music from the Air Force's talented Tops in Blue also set the stage. The convention is held annually to recognize and honor the efforts of the Tuskegee Airmen and to pay respects to those original Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen (DOTA) alive today as well as those who have passed on each year.
