Ramazan, the most sacred Muslim month, falls on the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. This year, that means Ramazan starts on August 1st and runs to August 30th. Muslims have a few special practicers they follow during the month. For example, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset during Ramazan to learn patience and humility. That's right; no food, no drinks and no smoking in front of Muslims while they fast. "Ramazan Mumbarak" which means "Happy Ramazan."
