In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15th as Peace Officers' Memorial Day, and the week in which that day falls as Police Week. O.S.I. and Security Forces Airmen at Osan Air Base paid their respects to two of their most recent fallen heroes, Senior Airman Nicholas Alden and Master Sgt. Tara Jacobs Brown, during a memorial ceremony.
