Coast Guard responds to report of vessel Golden Seas adrift 70 miles north of Adak

The crew of a Kodiak-based HC-130 Hercules aircraft makes contact with the crews of the 738-foot Liberian-flagged cargo vessel Golden Seas 47 miles north of Atka Island and the tug Tor Viking II in the Bering Sea Dec. 4, 2010. Coast Guard assets were deployed and diverted to respond to a report of the Golden Seas adrift Dec. 3 with 20 people aboard. Coast Guard video by Petty Officer 1st Class Sara Francis.
