The U.S. Air Force Weapons School trains tactical experts and leaders to control and exploit air, space and cyber on behalf of the joint force. In addition, the Weapons School provides academic and advisory support to numerous units, enhancing air combat training for thousands of Airmen from the Air Force, Department of Defense and U.S. allied services each year.
The 757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron developed a self-care day called “Mindful Maintainer” that occurs every Friday to help maintainers enhance their resiliency and foster connections.
Airmen rotate through the program weekly with activities coordinated by integrated resiliency training assistants who run the course. The sessions focus on strengthening maintainers’ communication skills and stress management.
The Exceptional Family Member Program Central Cell visited Nellis to talk to teams from the medical facilities, the Military and Family Readiness Center and the School Liaison Program, and about available programs, from March 4-8.
