Task Force Nightmare qualifies on several different weapon systems at the Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria. The weapons systems include the M4, MK19, M249, M17, and M320. This training increases, lethality, and the number of soldiers qualified to operate these weapon systems.
After a nine-month rotation, the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade has officially transferred authority over to the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, on April 01, 2021, at Storck Barracks, Illeshiem, Germany.
