The Human Performance Training Center (HPTC) is a new facility that opened for 10th Group personnel on Fort Carson. The facility boasts a wide varity of services, including a full weight room, turf, cardio section, and physical/occupational therapy. The facility encourages Soldiers to become the best version of themselves in both body and mind.
The Special Forces community is utilizing software that employs, to some degree, artificial intelligence. Operators with 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) completed multiple iterations of VirTra simulation training at the Human Performance Training Center (HPTC) on the 10th SFG (A) Complex, Feb. 2, 2024.
Green Berets assigned to 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) partnered with UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sept. 22, 2023. This one-day training event allowed 10th SFG (A) medical sergeants to demonstrate the Special Forces medical capabilities under austere conditions to the UCHealth medical staff.
