As part of Exercise Active Shield, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni is hosting daily crisis and readiness scenarios to keep servicemembers prepared for the worst. To simulate a hostage situation, an actor was placed with two volunteer hostages as military police and reaction forces surrounded the building.
