1月28日、艦船修理廠及び日本地区造修統括本部（SRF-JRMC）は、海上自衛隊横須賀造修補給所（YRSF）の40名に、前方展開する第７艦隊艦船の米海軍の整備要領を学ぶ場を提供した。3時間余りの訪問はSRF-JRMCの部隊概要説明、施設及び工場見学で構成された。
