With such a wide range of threats confronting the DON and the Services, it is imperative that we positively identify and disrupt malign actors to include individuals, networks, and states, in order to protect our people, technology, and operations.
Identity Activities include biometrics, forensics, digital and multimedia forensics, and document and media exploitation. These capabilities provide our Sailors, Marines, and NCIS Special Agents with the ability to deny anonymity to our enemies and attribute hostile acts and facilitate security, law enforcement, force protection, anti-terrorism, intelligence, and counterintelligence efforts to safeguard DON assets and information, secure our installations, protect our warfighters and their families, and defend the Nation’s interests.
Through your leadership, and sustained awareness and education, we will continue to enhance our security and Build a Culture of Warfighting Excellence. It is encouraged to use these products for display in the workplace, in training, or on official social media platforms.
