The Yank Magazine is a bi-monthly magazine published by the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, deployed to Forward Operating Base Marez in Mosul, Iraq. The 2nd HBCT, normally stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga., is comprised of approximately 7,000 Soldiers. As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom VII, they are conducting numerous missions within the Ninewa province.
